After 30 years, it has been decided that the Leopold Stokowski Society should close down at the end of 2009. We have achieved much over that period of time, notably with 35 CD releases on the Cala Records label. In addition, we have helped to sponsor four splendid Naxos CDs of Stokowski Transcriptions on which Jose Serebrier and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra give brilliant performances of the Maestro's arrangements of Bach, Mussorgsky and Wagner.
